How to read the table
Tip size is the outside diameter of the suction opening. Smaller tips give finer control in a small field, such as pediatric grafting; larger tips clear a flooded adult field faster.
The design column tells you the shape: Yankauer is the familiar curved tip, Cooley-Medoff is the straight cardiac cannula, and the Andrew Pynchon is a cardiac tip in a 4.2 mm size.
